Announcing a new eBook

JOHN SHAW'S PHOTOSHOP CS3 GUIDE

John Shaw's Photoshop CS3 Guide is a book about the digital darkroom, written for nature photographers.  It is an eBook available only as a PDF on a CD, a format accessible by both Windows and Macs.

This is not a work on the pros and cons of digital capture, or on how to use a digital camera.  It is not a book on making montages or on portrait retouching.   It is a book about producing the best quality digital images, whether you're starting from direct digital capture or from film scans.  I discuss step-by-step the work flow and procedures that I use to work on my images.  While I specifically discuss using Photoshop CS3, many of the techniques apply to earlier versions of Photoshop and to Elements.
